Birth DoulaI will provide at least two antenatal meetings, of up to two hours long, for us to get to know each other and discuss your thoughts, and options. I will be avaliable to be contacted as many times as you wish by telephone or e-mail. I will be on call from your 38th week of pregnancy to provide support during your birth and I include a post natal meeting. I will remain available by telephone or email for up to six weeks following the birth of your baby/ies. Postnatal DoulaI am avaliable for up to three hours per day between the hours of 9.30am and 2.30pm. I usually require a minimum booking of 20 hours but can be flexible depending on your circumstances. I am only able to travel up to 30 minutes drive away from my home, for postnatal support. Birth Doula .................................... £450.00Postnatal Doula ............................ £ 12.00 per hour plus mileage @ 45p per mile Within either of these packages I can also offer facial massage, to help with relaxation and blocked sinuses. I am also a qualified healer, this can be very relaxing for you and your baby. I have had basic training in homeopathy for childbirth and postnatally, so if you wish to use this effective and natural alternative, please ask. Birth Preparation If you feel you would like more information about your options during labour and birth, and maybe help with your birth plan, I am available to meet with you and your partner at your home for an informal information evening. This will be tailored to suit your personal experience and situation. I will also be available for you to contact by telephone and email up until the birth of your baby. Birth preparation evenings ...................................... £50.00 Newborn SkillsSometimes new parents find that they have had no previousexperience with newborn babies. Some have never even held a small baby, so the prospect of caring for their new arrival may seem very daunting. If this is how you feel then I can provide a one to one session, either before your baby is born, or shortly after, to show you the basics. I would include bathing, cord care, calming, nappy changing and anything else that you are concerned about. I can then provide telephone and email support up until your baby is 6 weeks old, by which time everything will be coming naturally to you.
