Birthing Your Way  My PhilosophyThe birth of a baby and the weeks after are a huge event in a womans life. This time will be filled with mixed emotions for both you and your partner and you will be faced with many choices, and much more well meaning advice. At this important time a woman needs to feel relaxed and in control. A doula will be able to help by providing continual, non judgemental support, reassurance and all the information you need to make the right choices for yourselves.Birth DoulaAs a birth doula, my role is to discuss all your options with you. We will discuss the physiology of the birth process and together we can create a birth plan, entirely suited to your needs. I will be able to support you throughout the birth of your baby, helping you to feel completely in control and at ease.Postnatal DoulaWhen the dust has settled and you're beginning your new life with your new baby, I can be there to help. Why should'nt you feel supported and nurtured when embarking on this wonderful new journey? You have already achieved an amazing feat by becoming a mother, so look after yourself; you deserve it. From simple chores to breast feeding technique and everything in between. Even if you just want a chat I'll be there to listen.  |
