Birthing Your Way  My PhilosophyThe birth of a baby and the weeks after are a huge event in a womans life. This time will be filled with mixed emotions for both her and her partner and they will be faced with many choices, and much more well meaning advice. At this important time a woman needs to feel relaxed and in control. A doula will be able to help them by providing continual support, reassurance and all the information they need to make the right choices for themselves.Birth DoulaAs a birth doula, my role is to discuss all your options with you. We will discuss the physiology of the birth process and together we can create a birth plan, entirely suited to your needs. I will be able to support you throughout the birth of your baby, helping you to feel completely in control and at ease.Postnatal DoulaWhen the dust has settled and you're beginning your new life with your new baby, I'll be there to help. From simple chores to breast feeding technique and everything in between. Even if you just want a chat I'll be there to listen.  |
